SQL/Data Warehouse Expert
- Location: Remote job – Open to Latin American Candidates
Overview of the Role:
A Data Warehouse Developer has immense knowledge of BI practices, data structures, data modelling, SQL skills, analyzing and reporting techniques.
On a day-to-day basis, the Data Warehouse Developer handles the delivery of data and information relating to Business Intelligence to the organization they work for. They are experienced in BI development, implementations, data architecture, and warehousing.
As part of the team, you will:
-Create, design, and develop data models
-Prepare plans for all ETL (Extract/Transformation/Load) procedures and architectures
-Validate results and create business reports
-Monitor and tune data loads and queries
-Prepare various code designs and ensure efficient implementation of the same
-Evaluate all codes and ensure the quality of all project deliverables
-Monitor data warehouse work and provide subject matter expertise
Key qualifications and Skills to succeed in this role:
-5+ years of experience in leading requirements gathering sessions and developing requirements and technical documents based on those requirements
-5+ years of experience writing complex queries using Transact SQL for reporting and data validation purposes
-5+ years of experience with data integration using ETL or ELT tool(s)
-2+ years of experience report development using Power BI
-2+ years of experience creating and maintain data integration processes using Azure Data Factory
-2+ years of experience developing with Azure SQL database
-2+ years of experience employing Kimball data warehouse principles and theories, including knowledge of the various tactical approaches to data warehouse development.
-2+ years of experience using Azure DevOps for source control, task management, and deployments.
-Experience using Informatica Power Center
-Understanding of database modelling and design principles and ability to use a data model diagram.
-Experience with SQL Server Integration Services for data integration.
-Experience with continuous integration and/or continuous deployment
